Bradford Neyland Davis, son of Nicholas Travis Davis and Caroline Rice Davis, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014.
In addition to his parents, Bradford is survived by maternal grandmother Mary Rice of Asheville; paternal grandparents Donna Batson and husband Chris of Arden, and Charles Davis and wife Tammy of Candler; great-grandparents James Frank and Evelyn Birchfield of Candler; paternal uncles Caleb Gooden, Andrew Davis, and Scott Batson and wife Suzanne; paternal aunt Casey Wilson; maternal aunts and uncles Amanda and Matthew James, Julie and Manuel Gonzalez, and David and Nahoko Rice; maternal cousins Suzannah Gonzalez, Christopher Rice, and William Rice; and paternal cousin Taden Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gerald Sprinkle officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bradford Neyland Davis Memorial Fund, c/o Telco Community Credit Union, 36 Tunnel Rd., Asheville, NC 28805, 828-252-6888.

Although I do not know your family with the exception of Matt and Amanda, I feel your guys pain, as we too have lost a loved one at too young of an age. To this day we talk about him and his short lived life here on this earth. My son was not old enough to remember his cousin, but today you would think they were friends and he knows all about him. I write this with a weight on my heart for.your family. I will always remember your family in.my prayers for the loss of a child is txhe greatest loss there is, I pray for strentgh to overcome, courage to carry on, love to carry foward and memories that will never be forgotten, and comfort for your family. Arlesia Bryson’s sister. My heart breaks for you. I understand your
loss because I loss my son only much older. I had to let you know God is
the only one to help your broken heart. He will, if you will let him;
there is not any reasoning to help. He is the only one able to help me

My daughter went to be with Jesus one year ago Friday; our pastor spoke to this verse at her funeral and I think of it everyday. We know each other only through friends of friends of friends. My prayer is that you are surrounded by friends and family who love The Lord and that you find peace in knowing you will see your son in Heaven.
