Sheila Diann Evans, 53, of 1355 Bear Creek Road, Leicester, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at her home following a long illness.
A native of Buckroe Beach, VA, she was a daughter of the late Woodrow and Lillie Mae Knight Smith. From 1991-2000 Mrs. Evans was the snack bar manager of Buncombe County Recreational Park.
Survivors include her husband, James E. Evans, III; a daughter, Michelle Stokes of Hendersonville; a son, Michael Stokes of Wichita Falls, TX; a sister, Linda Smith of Hudson, FL; three grandchildren, Rebecca Stokes, Antonio Pino and Nirvana Stokes.
A family gathering will be held from 1:00-6:00 pm Sunday at the residence.

Hello family of Sheila. I’m sorry to hear of her passing. I took care of her at Weaverville Famly Medical Practice when I was there until a year ago.
