Larry Wayne Fox, 51, of Travelers Rest, SC, died on Friday, July 4, 2014.
A native of Asheville, Mr. Fox was a son of Shirley Chastain Fox and of the late Bruce Randall Fox.
Mr. Fox worked at Saint-Gobain Abrasives as a machine operator.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Fox is survived by his son, Nakia "Nick" Fox; sisters, Sandra Sexton and Cindy Chapman; brother, Randy Fox; and grandchildren, Gabriel Isaac Fox and Jaxon Randall Fox.
A memorial service will be at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Coxie officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Larry Fox was a dear friend of mine. He never had a bad word about anyone.He will be dearly missed and never forgotten. I love you brother.many good times we had together.May the lord be with you Shirley and Nick in your time of need.Thinking of you two. Love you guys.
