Frederick "Dale" Stockton, 74, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014. He is the son of the late Frederick Beauford Stockton and Reva King Stockton.
Dale is preceded in death by his son, Frederick Dale Stockton, Jr., and Frederick's mother, Linda Hyatt Stockton.
Mr. Stockton was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a dedicated volunteer at ABCCM.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Middleton Stockton; a sister, Dianne Thompson and husband Henry; a brother, Carroll Stockton and wife Barbara; along with beloved nieces, nephews, and three special grandsons, Mason, Jaxon, and Erason Penney.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Pisgah View Memorial Park, with the Rev. Phillip W. Park officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, 2312 Smokey Park Hwy, Candler, NC 28715.
Dale was always very nice man he dog sat at my house many years ago for my chow Harley so now he can see Harley again Dale was great man rip our friend.
