Linda Jean Coin, 60, died Thursday, January 1, 2015, at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. Ms. Coin was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of Elizabeth Warren Coin of Asheville, and the late C.J. Coin. She was a graduate of Enka High School and had worked as a clerk with the Buncombe County Register of Deeds. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Andrew Dale Plemmons and wife, Shannon, and two grandchildren, Karly and Kinon. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with Pastor Jesse Looney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and suggest that memorials be made to CarePartners Hospice, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.
