Homer Burnette "H.B." Reeves, 81, of Leicester, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at Pisgah Manor Healthcare.
A native of Madison Co., he was a son of the late Burnette and Nota Woody Reeves. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne and Burton Reeves.
Mr. Reeves is survived by his wife, Aileen Reece Reeves; daughters, Freida Reeves Wyatt and husband Doug, and Ranee Reeves Reynolds and husband Billy, all of Leicester; grandchildren, Zachary Wyatt and Jill Reynolds; brother, Woody Reeves; and sister, Mary Lou Parham.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ricky Townsend officiating. Interment will follow at the Turkey Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Our love, thoughts and prayers are with you guys. I have so many amazing childhood memories spending time with your family. Your daddy will be missed very much. I will always remember that very funny, dry sense of humor he had.

So sorry to hear of H.B. passing. He certainly will be missed. He certainly has be a Great Neighbor and Friend to us. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. Be comforted by the love and support from all of your friends and family. Know that we will all be together again where there will be no pain or death . We love you.
