  1. Cathy, I’m so sorry that this day came way too soon for Vickie. I’m glad I got to work with her. She was so sweet and really loved teaching. You will be in my thoughts and prays. Pam Wilson

  2. Vickie and I taught together at Oakley School for decades. She was a strong member of the team. She brightened our days with her wit and sense of humor and brought scrumptious ham biscuits to our pot luck meals! I am grateful to have known her. My prayers are with her family and friends. Vickie was a gem of a human being.

  3. Vickie was my next door neighbor when I joined the Oakley faculty. She was so sweet and helpful, and that is also when I learned to enjoy and appreciate her sense of humor. She left us too soon, but we are all better for having known her. I am sorry that I cannot attend her service, but my thoughts will be with you.

  4. I worked with Vicki for many years at Oakley. I learned to appreciate and trust her insight in how to help our students. She was always a great teacher and friend to the entire staff. Her sense of humo helped brighten all of our lives. I loved working with her. She will be sorely missed. My prayers go out to her family.

  5. Vickie was my friend and co-worker, we taught 5th grade at Oakley. Vickie was a great teacher who was able to see the humor in almost every situation as our 5th graders tranitioned from elementary school students to pre-teens ready for middle school. I am glad to have had her as a colleague and friend.

  6. Ive know Vickie throough school and then found her again at Oakley.
She never had either of kids but always a big hellos and smiles when you saw her.
She will be missed. Thoughts and prayers for the family.

  7. Cathy, I am deeply sorry to read of the death of your sister. Although losing a loved one is never easy to deal with, our Heavenly Father gives us the needed strength to cope. May you experience HIS loving care and comfort as you move through this time of grief.

  8. Cathy, Vickie was a great friend and co-worker at Oakley. When I was down, I knew I could always go to her to help cheer me up. When your heart is empty, filling it with happy memories can help. If I can help you at this time of sadness, I’m here.

  9. Cathy, You are in my prayers and Vickie will always live in my heart. I love you both and I am here for you whenever you need me. Each Spring when I plant my flowers I will remember Vickie and how she loved her flowers. She was truly a very special person and we were all so much blessed by having known her. Our lives have been dimmed by her passing but Heaven is a much brighter place now.
