Patricia Robinson Wood

Patricia Robinson Wood, 68, died Friday, May 15, 2015. A native of Haywood Co., Mrs. Wood was a daughter of the late Paul Nesbit and Earlene Summey Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Moore Wood, who died in 2007, and by her brother, Harry Robinson. Mrs. Robinson had worked as a data processor for the City of Asheville. She enjoyed shopping and loved spending time crabbing in the Potomac River. Mrs. Wood is survived by her children, Karenne Wood, and Keith Wood, both of Richmond, VA, Tammy Jones Warner, of Asheville, and Stephanie Lollis (Curtis) of Marion; nine grandchildren: Adrienne, Emily, Michael D. (Marci), Brittany, Tyler, Michael W., Marisa, Jordan and Shelby; great-grandson, Tatum; and brother, Jerry Robinson (Teresa). A funeral service for Mrs. Wood will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.
