Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Susan, Phil, and David, we are remembering what a wonderful Husband, Father, and Grandfather your Dad was. Earl is now one of our newest angels. Shirley and Ray Kennedy

  2. So sorry to read about Earl. I have good memories of him at Arden First Baptist Church directing the music. I know on Sunday nights after Church, Most of the choir & Earl would come up to the house & we would sing old time gospel music. Had so much fun and a lot of Christian Fellowship. He will be missed by many. My prayers are with the family.

  3. Earl was my uncle, and a finer person never walked on the face of the earth. He loved his God, his family and his church. If the true measure of one’s life is whether the world is better for his having lived, then Earl measured up with flying colors. In recent years, I have not gotten to see Earl as often, but there is a deep sadness and emptiness knowing he has gone. Now that the Rogers family is rejoined, just know they are swapping tales and stories the same as they did when they were all here. Can you hear it? That’s the sound of the angels doubled over in laughter. Godspeed, Earl.

  4. Susan, I am so sorry. You and your family are in my prayers. I know he must have been a wonderful man because you are so special.

  5. Susan, just heard about your father, I am sorry for your loss, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

  6. So sorry for your loss Susan. I just heard about it and I am so sorry. God bless you all and may you find peace during this really difficult time in your lives.

  7. Susan,
Deepest sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your father.
