Guestbook

  1. To the family and friends of Mr. Wilson. I am deeply sorry for your loss. It is a tragedy to lose a loved one in death. I know that he will be missed.

The Bible mentions that not only will God help you through this situation, but it also helps us to appreciate that we will have the opportunity to see our loved ones again. Read Psalms 34:18 and also John 5:28,29.

I hope these scriptures can provide a sense of comfort for you and your family. All of you are in my prayers…

  2. Jeanette, I cannot express how sorry we are to hear of the loss to this earth of dear Frank. We treasure memories of him. We pray for your family as you tread this path. We know of the Lord’s faithfulness, from recent experience, to comfort and lead at such a time as this. Frank has been in our daily prayers for many months. We love you both. Our sincere sympathy to you and your wonderful family.

  3. Jeanette,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have you and your family in my prayers and will keep you there. May the peace that transcends all understanding be yours during this time. I am so glad that Frank’s faith assures us that we all will meet him again.

  4. Jeanette, I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. So many fond memories of you both teaching Sunday School when I was a teenager at Pole Creek. Praying for peace – that passes all understanding. Love you.

  5. Frank’s integrity and love for Jesus was always front and center. I loved working with him, worshiping with him, and talking with him about the important things of life. He will be missed greatly.

  6. So grateful to have known Frank a bit and you Jeanette…so grateful for his love for the Lord..enjoyed talking with him at the farmers market in Waynesville..praying for the Holy Spirit to give you His presence in your loss and grief…Bob and Freida Persons

  7. David and I are so saddened to hear this news. What a godly man we remember. We have often commented on missing his heartfelt ‘Amen’ at CRPC. ‘Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His saints’. We pray for you all the peace and comfort that can only come from the one Frank loved so dearly. Joseph said, ‘I wish I could have seen him one more time’. Only God knows the lives he has touched in his 56 years!

    Love,

  8. Jeanette, you and all of your family are in our prayers for peace and comfort from our Lord Jesus Christ as you go through this transition time (as Frank called it). He was indeed a godly man who touched many lives and will be greatly missed. We praise our Heavenly Father that we all can join him someday. We love you all.

  9. Frank ran the race with endurance and he finished strong. He was one of the greatest men I ever knew, or likely ever will know. God used Frank to bless and encourage so many people in his life and I am so grateful that I got to be one of them.

  10. The Lord has given, the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord. The Lord gives us men like Moses and Joseph, who accomplish great things, and are remembered because of their faith and earthly accomplishments. He gives us men like Frank to remind us of His love for us. Strong and gentle, firm and kind. Quick with a smile and an encouraging word, humble, while confident, as his confidence was, and is, in Christ. When I am called to sing in the choir eternal I hope that I will be standing near Frank.

  11. We could add more to others stories about Frank, his kindness, thoughtfulness and love. Our story goes back quite a few years, but I won’t go into detail. What a wonderful godly man he was. Our condolences and love, Jeanette & family.

  12. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. From the sentiments shared by others, I can tell Frank was dedicated to his family and to showing the love of Christ to others. What an awesome example of God’s hands and feet on Earth.

  13. We are grieving the loss of a great solider for the Lord here on earth. We are celebrating the receiving of one of his into the kingdom of heaven. Our prayer for those closest and left behind is that Jesus’ presence will fill you with hope and joy in the days to come.

  14. Frank will be missed. His passion for Jesus and his love for his family was a beautiful example to others. My prayers and sympathy are with his wonderful family.

  15. Frank worshipped a Jewish carpenter and endured a Jewish doctor. I was consistently inspired and honored by the association. Frank was the embodiment of integrity, in every sense of the word. He was and his memory endures as a rare example of authentic strength of conviction and humility. In all the many years he blessed me to be his physician, Frank never broadcast his faith- he lived it. Pure, unpretentious, and true. May we all endeavor to even approximate the high water mark set by Frank Wilson. And may God comfort all of us so impoverished by his absence, as heaven is surely enriched.

  16. Jeanette, our thoughts and prayers for you and the family during this difficult time.

  17. Jeannette, Beverly and I send our deepest condolences. Having both lost spouses we have a sense of your great loss. I guess what I remember most about Frank was his wonderful prayers. He certainly was able to connect with God in a way I wish we all could know. A wonderful saint has met his master. Thanks be to God. Prayers for your grief.

  18. Jeannette,
All of us here at the Councell home want you to know that WE LOVE YOU!
John Mark is away but just wrote these words: Frank was an amazing light that beamed brightly for the little while he was placed on this earth! Now he is home! ‘precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of HIs saints’ Psalm 116:15 What a verse! That means that our Lord chooses each homegoing carefully and thoughtfully and ‘He doeth all things well!’

May you and Matt, Maria, Nathan and Anthony, (as well as their spouses and grandbabies, etc) find rest and comfort in the Lord whom Frank loved and trusted so well! Our Saviour defeated death…and because of that, we know that we will soon see Frank again! What comfort to have such a blessed hope and wonderful truth! May you find this to be the balm that bathes your tears!
Know that we are here should you ever need anything!

  19. Jeanette and family,

We are so sorry to hear of your loss of Frank. You all are in our prayers. May the Lord be praised for His provision of salvation for Frank and for us all.

  20. We know that Frank was a good husband and father, but he exemplified the verse ‘Love thy neighbor as thyself.’ Our neighborhood has not been the same since the Wilson’s left. Frank went out of his way to be a help to everyone he met. God bless you and comfort you at this time.

  21. I mourn your loss, dear friends Jeannette, Matt, Maria, Nate, and Anthony. I have many memories growing up with you and seeing the genuine love and integrity Frank displayed in work, family, church, everywhere. His passion for Jesus was so apparent and inspiring, and I am so sorry that you are without him now. May the Lord bless you and keep you and make His face shine on you so that you feel Jesus’s love and care as you mourn.

  22. Honored to know this man. His love for God made such an impact on me that I still hear his encouragements to always pursue the Lord in every situation life throws at us. Bittersweet longing to have the whole family be together again. Jeannette and everyone – we love you so much. Prayers for all the family.

  23. Jeanette and family, Miles and I have fond memories of your family when you were in our church. We are so sorry to hear about Frank and your loss. May God give grace and strength during this difficult and sad time. Lean heavily upon Him for He comforts like none other can. May God take your grief and use it not only for the good of your souls, but for the good of others.God bless you in the coming days. Love, thoughts, and prayers…

  24. My condolences go out to your family. As you prepare to lay your loved one to rest, may you find comfort from your Bible at Psalms 34:18. ‘ HE’? is close to the brokenhearted and crushed in spirit.’ This verse has helped me when dealing with the loss of loves ones. You can find similar verses in the website  www.jw.org

  25. Frank carried on being a true man of God, along with the generations of strong Christian men before him. Bringing up their children along in the faith. He had some big shoes to fill when it came to his Grandfather Edwin. The teachings and the word put into action has continued to bear fruit all through the branches of the Wilson and Alexanders. Sorry for you loss. He is at peace wth the Lord and having a great homecoming with Edwin, Bleaker May, and John McCamie Wilson. What a joy to be amongst the celebration.

  26. Jeanette, our deepest sympathies to you and your family for your loss. We have fond memories of you and Frank and your children during your time at Locust Grove.

  27. Our prayers and thoughts are with yall. I have very fond memories of working on the farm. We love yall very much.

  28. Jeanette and family, we are deeply saddened to learn of Frank’s passing. He was such a wonderful man. He treated Wil with such patience, love and respect at a time when Wil needed it the most. We are still grateful to you and Frank for helping us get through that summer. Please know that we are holding you in our hearts and prayers and love. You and Frank have been such a blessing to our community. We love you, Kay and Mike

  29. Jeanette & family, Robin and I were shocked to hear of Frank’s passing. He was such a wonderful example of what it means to truly follow Christ. What a beautiful legacy he has left for his precious family and to all those who had the privilege of knowing him. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love in Christ, Robin & Mollie Stafford

  30. Jeannette & family, I am so sorry to hear of Frank\’s passing. Having grown up with Frank in Charlotte around Sheffield Park, I have many great memories of him, Mack and their father. I always looked up to Frank as a child and was so surprised when I found out he was the father of Nathan, who played on my 7 year old baseball team nearly 20 years ago in Weaverville. Many years had passed when we met on that ball field, but in many ways it seemed like yesterday. It still does, and I was inspired by the way Frank carried himself as an adult and how he loved the Lord. I know you all will miss Frank, and I will to, but I wanted you to know how I loved Frank and enjoyed the few times we have crossed paths since. I am sure Frank touched many more lives, but I for one was blessed to know him. God bless each of you.

  31. Dear Jeanette and family,

We were so so sorry and sad to hear of the death of Frank. We love him and your family very much even though we haven’t seen you in years and years. Our children keep up with your children on facebook, and we have so many good memories of the Christian friendship and fellowship God allowed us to share with you when you all lived here. May our God comfort you in ways that only He can do and we’ll pray for much grace, wisdom, peace and healing for you and the family as you feel his loss in the days ahead. Much love in Christ to you all!

  32. I am saddened to learn of the passing of an old friend. We grew distant and lost touch but I thought of him and Jeanette often. I’m sure he is in the presence of our Lord in Heaven. Blessings to the family.
