Sorry for this loss for Eddie’s family and friends, his colleagues and shipmates! As a young kid joining the Seabees, Eddie was one of my mentors and a true man that I looked up to! As I developed into the man I am today Eddie continued to be a mentor, but also, he became a great friend! As with so many, we see each other rarely but when you saw Eddie or called him for something, he would do whatever he could to help. I have watched Eddie cook and serve those older veterans with a kind heart. Fair winds and following seas my friend!
So sorry to hear of your loss. Eddie was such a close friend as I also was a Seabee. Enjoyed seeing him at the reunions we had for Island X-24. He will be truly missed.

Eddie was one of my closest friends in high school. We did many things together and had great times. He will be missed. One of the oakley outlaws
RIP Seabee. We have the watch!
It’s hard to believe Eddie is gone. I had classes with Eddie from first grade till 12th. I know all of his Oakley/Reynolds friends are in shock. I always told him, If we were ever in a war, ‘You would be the one I would want to be in the fox hole with’ because he would be the one that you could count on. Rest in peace old friend in the calm waters of heaven.
My heart is broken to lose the love of my life, but you are in heaven and at peace. The love we’ve shared these past couple of years will provide those sweet and wonderful memories to help me get through the rest of my life. Rest now my honey bunny, and I will see you in heaven. My deepest sympathy to your children, sister, aunt, uncle and cousins.
I too will miss Eddie. Although we had not spoken in several years, I have fond memories of his sweet and gentle spirit. I have childhood memories from our school days at Oakley and A.C. Reynolds. God’s peace and comfort to Norma and the family.

So very sorry for your lost Eddie was a good friend to my family during or lost so please accept my condulence.
I served in the Navy Seabee’s with Eddie. He was our Master-at-Arms. No one is ever truly prepared for a loss of a loved one. But in the time that your loved one was here, lives were touched, memories were made and bonds were formed that will last forever.
‘Eternal Father, strong to save… Lord, stand beside the men who build, And give them courage, strength and skill. O grant them peace of heart and mind, And comfort loved ones left behind. Lord, hear our prayers for all Seabee’s, Where’er they be on land or sea. Hear from Heaven our Sailors cry, and grant eternal life on high!’ RIP my Seabee Brother.
Sorry to hear of this family’s great loss! Eddie will be missed so much by all who knew him. My prayers go out to his family and friends who thought so much of him.
