My heart was so saddened to read of Bruce’s passing. Although we were not really close friends in the last few years he remained strongly in my memories as a good friend and decicated officer when we served as deputies with the BCSD. A trip we made together to Louisville, KY to attend a Law Enforcement conference and experiences we shared there will always remain a memory to enjoy and relive.
Bruce was a credit to his gender and a roll model for all of us who were fortunate to know him.
Brett I am so very sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed seeing and talking with your dad when he came by to visit you. May God hold you in his hands during this difficult time. May your sadness soon be replaced with sweet, happy memories. God Bless and watch over you and your family.

Dear Carolyn;
I just heard that Bruce had passed and I deeply express my sympathies to you and your family. I always loved running into Bruce when I walked my dog Micah and Bruce always took the time to joke with me, gossip a little, and always had hugs for Micah. . A very funny and warm guy We will really miss him on Rice Road.
Dear Pike Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Bruce. I will always remember him chasing after the hound dog that always chased after me while delivering the mail. He would come down in his vehicle and try to get the dog to get in with him, but that dog would rather run my tires.
I hope your memories help you heal through this difficult time.
