Frances Snow Robinson, of Miracle Drive, Asheville, passed in peace at Care Partners Solace Center on Monday, November 30, 2015. Daughter of James Keith and Bertha Hooper Sugg of Asheville, Frances was born August 8, 1923 in Asheville and remained a life-long resident of Buncombe County.
Born and raised in Biltmore Village, Frances was a 1941 graduate of Biltmore High School. She married Harold Edward Snow, Sr. in 1942, and continued to live in Biltmore Village where she raised their three children: she was preceded by death by her daughter Mary Frances Snow McMahan and son Harold Edward Snow, Jr., and is survived by James Robert Snow of Mount Pleasant, SC.
She worked at Three Mountaineers Manufacturing for more than 35 years, and there, met her second husband, Luther Perry Robinson. Together, they raised her grandson in East Asheville.
She was a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church, in Fletcher, NC, and enjoyed watching I Love Lucy, keeping a tidy house and taking care of her pets. She was known for her quick wit and home cooked meals.
Frances is also survived by four loving grandchildren: Jonathan Keith Snow of Sacramento, CA; Ronald Christopher McMahan of Asheville, NC; James Keith Snow of Charlotte, NC; and Kelli Snow Queen of Fletcher, NC and two beautiful great granddaughters: Lila Frances Snow and Mary Addison Queen.
She was God-loving, caring person, who spent her entire life focused on the happiness and welfare of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Groce Funeral Home, Tunnel Road on December 12th, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. and procession will follow to Gashes Creek Cemetery. Pastor Robert James will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

She was a joy to everybodies life she touched. Mary and I had some great times with her , and you .Jonathan. I know how much you will miss her . She raised a great boy , she was always very proud of you . Our Thursday outings every week were very special to me…We lost 2 great Snow ladies .
Frances was a joy to know. She always had a testimony that she loved her Lord. We are thankful to have known her. She was a blessing to our church service at Asheville Health Care Center. Our prayers are with the family.
