Betty Jean Shook Crouch, 85, of Asheville, died Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Aston Park Health Care Center.
A native of Asheville, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Shook and Ruth Shook Jones, and step-daughter of the late Charles E. "Casey" Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Crouch, who passed February 23, 2016; and nephew Doug Colagerakis.
Mrs. Crouch is survived by her sons, Terry Crouch and wife Nancy, and Mark Crouch; grandchildren, Kara Baker (Brent) and Sarah Crouch (Rene Gagne); great-grandson, Huxley Baker; sister, Shirley Colagerakis and husband Gus; and nieces and nephews Marcie Davis (Gary), Mike Colagerakis (Betsy), and Jeff Colagerakis (Tanya).
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016, at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.

Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
We have lost a very sweet soul. Never a better mother-in-law. A awesome grandmother. She will be missed but never forgotten.
To the family of Mrs. Crouch, We offer our deepest condolences. We came to know this family at the Happy Hill Restaurant. You have lost both parents, grandparents in a short time. We pray that God will give you comfort and peace during this sad time.
