Eithel Lillian Meece O'Kelley, 86, of Asheville, died Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Universal Healthcare in Fletcher.
A native of Henderson County, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Lillian Marlowe Meece. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Luther O'Kelley, who died in 1993, as well as four brothers.
Eithel was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church and a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Taylor (William) of Savannah, GA; two sons, Kim Jonathan O'Kelley (Alison) of Mills River and Larry West (Betty) of Hendersonville; two sisters, Jeannie Marriott of Fletcher and Nanci Garren of Mills River; two brothers, Arvel Meece of Raleigh and J.P. Meece of Arden; four grandchildren, Jeff, Tonya, Caitlyn and Tyler, as well as six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Trinity Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the church from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery
Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
So sorry to hear of Eithel’s passing. We loved her. We will be remembering the family in prayer.
