A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of Elizabeth Ballew and of the late Ernest J. Elliott.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her daughter, Brandy Leeper; 3 grandchildren; sister Kelly Mercier; and brothers Craig Mercier, Richard Mercier, and Donald Elliott.

Dear Sisk family, I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. It’s heartbreaking to read of such sad news, and I know you must be going through an extremely difficult time. May Jehovah, ‘the God of tender mercies and the God of all comfort,’ be with your family. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) He is aware of the pain you are feeling. Psalm 147:3 says, ‘He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds.’ These are just a few of many scriptures that has brought comfort to my family during times of bereavement.
