William Winfield Repass, of Arden, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Oaks At Sweeten Creek. A native of Coalwood, WV, he was the son of the late Mary McDonald and William Repass. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Fowler Repass, who passed away in 2006 and one son, Bill Repass, who passed away in 2013. Mr. Repass proudly served his country, having served in the US Army. He retired after a long career in sales at All Aluminum Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sports, including football, basketball and baseball. He is survived by one daughter, Beth Hyder; two sons, Scott Repass and his wife, Kim and Doug Repass and his wife, Karin; six grandchildren, Greg, Dillon, Lauren, Katie, Brian and Rachel and three great-grandchildren, Nahla, Navah and Nathan. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Charles George VA Medical Center, 1100 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC 28805.

    Bill and Margaret were near and dear to our family and we share in your sadness. If we can do anything to help please let me know. Jessica and I had so many fun times with your dad at the store and shared in a lot of laughter with him. We will cherish those memories.

    He was a fine athlete, great neighbor and friend.
