  3. Ms. Ponders & family,
I wish I could be with you today during this most difficult day in your lives. You know how much you mean to my brothers and I and we love you all SOOO much. My brothers will be there for the service, unfortunately I just couldn’t make that drive from South GA, however, I know that you know I’m thinking about all of you during this difficult time. You and Mr. Ponders we’re such an important part of our lives growing up and I will forever cherish the memories we made together. Especially the ones from EVERY CHRISTMAS EVE when you both would come up and bring Daddy a huge pot of chicken and dumplings (which he ALWAYS looked forward to) and then we would open Christmas gifts together.THANK YOU FOR THE GOOD TIMES, AND FOR A LIFETIME OF WONDERFUL MEMORIES THAT I WILL FOREVER CARRY IN MY HEART. I love you Ms. P and your in my thoughts and prayers during this sad day of farewells.
    I love you,
    Erik Penland
