Lattie helped countless boys grow into strong young men through his work as Scout Master. He treated everyone kindly, had high expectations and laughed often. Lattie made a significant contribution to Thomas’ life and was always willing to share his mechanical skills and positive approach to life. He truly made a difference in this world.
Kellie and family – my deepest sympathy in the passing of this wonderful man. Although I was blessed to know him only a short time, it was evident he lived by the Golden Rule. When my friend Jesse V Nelson needed assistance of any kind, he was there to offer whatever support he could. I will always be grateful to Lattie for showing me his character and genuine goodness. His love for you, Kellie, and his family was shown in all he did. Please know you have my sincere condolences in his passing and I care deeply for you and your family.
Very sorry to hear about Lattie, my thoughts and prayers are with.
We are so sorry to hear of Lattie’s passing. My husband Chad worked with him at Alliance for years and he also taught our son in Boy Scouts. He always had a smile for you whenever you’d see him. He was truly a great man and will be dearly missed. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless You All.
To Shane and family,
So very sorry for your loss, my prayers are with you all.
He will be missed and always remembered by many
We have lost a fine gentleman and our grief is only diminished by all the good deeds he did as a fellow scouter.
Kellie and family:
We were saddened to hear about Lattie. We know he was welcomed into presence of our Lord and Savior ,Jesus Christ. He was loved by his family and friends. We will certainly miss him. May God’s mercy and love shelter you in the days to come as only He can.
Kellie, Lattie will always be one of the finest men I know and certainly the most courageous. He so often seemed to minimize his own health issues and concentrate more on the welfare of others. It was an honor working with him in Troop 26 and I think of those times often. Our thoughts are with you, Shane, Amanda, and the rest of your family.
Kellie,so sorry for your loss,I know how bad you are hurting. Prayers to the family and you.
Kellie, Shane, and Amanda, I am sorry to hear about your loss. Lattie was such a positive influence for my boys and for so many others in the community. He will be missed. Blessings upon you as you move forward.
Dear Kellie, so sorry to you and your family for your loss. I have been thinking of you and just wanted you to know. I hope that you will find peace in all the good times and all the years you had together.
I love this verse from the Bible. Lattie reminded me of this verse, a fine example.
Philippians 4:8. ‘Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.’?
