Bill Henderson passed away Friday, December 29th 2017 at his home in Marshall, NC. Bill was born Jan 9, 1958 in Junction City, Kansas the only son and middle child of Clarence and Fay Henderson and spent his early years in Freeport, Illinois.
As a young man he greatly enjoyed summers with family in Spring City, TN. He moved with his family to Marshall, NC in 1973. He graduated from Madison High School in 1976 and went on to be a Ford Master Mechanic for his entire working career, using his skills for many years with Ken Wilson Ford in Canton. Nothing made Bill happier than to be on the lake fishing on his boat with his wife Donna by his side, but his greatest joy has been their granddaughters, Harper Patton and Lillie Buckner and the new grandchild coming in 2018.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Fay Henderson of Marshall. His love, strength and character will remain in the hearts of all he leaves behind - his beloved wife of 23 years, Donna Fowler Henderson; his children, Kristin Henderson Patton (Austin) and Nathan Henderson (Dana); his stepson Kyle Buckner (Mandy); his granddaughters, Harper Patton and Lillie Buckner; his mother and father-in-law, Don and Pat Fowler; brother-in-law Tony Fowler (Sophia); his sisters, Karen Henderson and Tammy Ray (John) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

A Celebration Of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2018 in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. His family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 PM on Saturday. A private interment will be held at Hooper’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
