Lorraine Louise Snedden

Lorraine Louise Snedden, 83, of Waynesville, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Haywood Hospice House. A native of Mt. Arlington, NJ, Lorraine was a daughter of the late Fred and Nellie Gordon Peterson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John H. "Jack" Snedden, son, John Snedden, and by 15 siblings. Mrs. Snedden was a member of Women of the Moose, Lodge #179. Surviving are her daughter, Lorraine Bellomo (Ron); sons, Fred Snedden (Margo) and Robert Snedden (Joy); 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Doris Rutkoski and Grace Garrison. A memorial service for Mrs. Snedden will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
