I am so sorry to hear that your mother (Nana) passed away. She will be missed by many. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
I’m so saddened to have lost no only my Aunt, cousin & 2nd Momma as she told me that when my Mother passed away in May of 1991 that she’d be my Omma now. No sweeter words could have been spoken to me. I know she’ll be there waiting inside the gates when I am called away as well as my Mother , Dad & 3 brother’s there already. Plus my precious son Tim has gotten to greet her too.
My deepest love & prayers to you 3 daughters, all of her extended family also. Heaven became brighter & sweeter on Sunday morning. RIP my precious Aunt Doris Miller.
Gwen, Butch, Lee, and Casey and your family, I was honored to have met Ms. Doris through our friendship. She was an outstanding loving woman, with that southern class that she upheld at all times. She sure did love her family and cared for them as much as she possibly have done. She was a strong woman that triumphed over life’s hardship, but always smiling and looked beautiful to boot. Prayers for all you and all your family.
Heaven becomes sweeter during times such as these. My prayers to all who loved this lovely lady.
