  3. Leslie, I was sorry to learn of Ken’s passing. We all had soom great times when we were racing and Ken was a great friend. Rita and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

  4. Mrs. Wunder, I am so sorry to learn of Ken’s passing last year.
Ken was such a bright star during a dark time in my life. Ken helped, in his own little part, to turn that dark time into the best thing that ever happened.
We met at NSUH when he was Manhasset Orthotics. He helped me, along with Bruce Meinhard, MD, in recovering from devastating bilateral cominuted tib/fib fractures sustained while fighting a fire as a 21 year old volunteer firefighter in Manhasset.
I will be forever grateful for his advice, his skills, his caring and his compassion.
This year I will be celebrating 39 years of marriage to the love of my life, my nurse.
I am convinced that had Ken not been a part of my life then, we wouldn’t be celebrating 39 years this year.
We are so sorry for your loss.
