Linda J. Fisher, 82, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 22, 2020 at her home.
She was predeceased by the recent passing of her sister, Ann Kimball who lived in Seattle, WA. She is the daughter of Samuel and Jeanette Horton, who preceded her in death by many years.
After growing up on Long Island, New York, Linda married and moved to Florida where she raised her three children. She enjoyed many decades in Florida, mostly as a homemaker. Following the death of her husband, Todd, she migrated northward, settling in Arden, North Carolina. Once in Arden she was active working at Nativity Preschool and Around the Son Preschool at Skyland United Methodist Church. She was a passionate member of Skyland United Methodist Church where she met many wonderful friends, who were important in her life.
Recently, Linda enjoyed her daily walks at Fletcher Park, along with the fellowship of her friends and family.
Linda is the beloved grandmother to Brittany, Connor, Collan, and Hayden, a role she cherished.
Linda will be sorely missed by all those who loved her, which was anyone who met her. She is survived by her children, Doug Konselman, Donna Morrissey, and Laura Jensen and her four grandchildren.
Linda will be lovingly remembered and honored in a private family service.

Linda was in my Sunday School Class at Skyland United Methodist Church. She was always such a kind, nice person. She will certainly be missed. Prayers of comfort to her family and friends.
You will be deeply missed my dear friend
Love you
I enjoyed working with Linda at Around The Son Preschool.
She was such a kind and sweet person and she loved the children at ATSP.
She was a good friend and I will miss her.
The last exchange we shared…says a lot about her. “Don’t think it takes much to make me laugh”…This is one way I choose to remember her. Love to her Family .

Laura,
I’m so deeply sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was a loving, kind spirit who touched so many lives, children and adults, including mine and many families with children at Nativity during Sunday morning worship and during her time at Nativity Preschool. I often took the time on Sunday morning to stop by and visit with her between services. I know that you and the boys miss her greatly!
Much love to you all,
Debbie McGinnis
