Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. There are two things about Eddie that I have always known were true.

    1) He knew Jesus as Lord and Savior.
    2) If he told you something it was the truth.

Eddie had a deep compassion for those that were less fortunate and did many favors and expected no payment in return. He was the man like the old saying, he’d give you the shirt off his back.
He was a brother, friend and delight to talk to. I always enjoyed looking at something he had modified to perfection and amazed how a mind could see a finished product.

Let’s all pray for Dale, Kyle and Jordan during this time and his extended family and friends. We are sure going to miss him until we see him again.

  2. Dale, Kyle, Joran, David, Ann & Arthur:

I am so heartbroken. My mind is flooded with memories of all the times we spent together in worship, going out to eat, the numerous New Years Eve’s we spent together and all the laughter. Eddie was my brother from another mother. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. We have the reassurance of seeing him again, while that makes it some easier, it’s still unfathomable that he’s not here. Dale, I love you dearly. Kyle & Jordan, no matter how old you get, you will always be my kids. I’m a phone call away I love you all

    Jeremiah 29:11

  3. Eddie was a wonderful and a very joyous person. We enjoyed being around him lots of times. Thought a lot of him and Dale. May god bless the whole family.
    Reuben and Beverly.

  4. My heart is broken with this news about Eddie. I was his second grade teacher. We had 32 kids in the class in a single wide trailer on the playground. We had a good time together and I have so many wonderful memories of Eddie as a student. He was so cute. He had a head full of curly blond hair, the brightest blue eyes and a smile that could light up a room. His personality and joy for life was contagious. He made my day brighter the moment he walked into our class. I talked about him at home and my family felt like they knew him too. As he grew I saw him often. He always was the same with his bright smile and sweet nature. He helped when my daughter and son in law built their house. That was a wonderful time to get to see him often. I will always remember Eddie with love. He brought joy to my class and to my life. Please know I am praying for each member of his family as you face the days ahead. May you find comfort and peace knowing he is with God.

  6. Dale, Kyle and Jordan, I love you all and I’m so sorry. So many memories, stories and wonderful adventures we all shared. Our lives are forever entwined and Eddie was at the center of it all. He was always helping others and he truly would give anyone the shirt off his back if he thought they needed it. Eddie and I have been friends since middle school and when he and Dale got married it was the four of us against the world! When our kids were born we had four more to add to our adventures. I treasure every moment we spent together. It’s impossible for me to put into words the bond all of us share. I love you all and you are in my thoughts and prayers always.

  7. Such a shock to us, Eddie always had a beautiful smile & a countenance about him, you just knew He was a child of the King. Dale, Kyle & Jordan, you are in our prayers & in our hearts. Lord bless this family with a comfort only you can provide 🙏💗

  20. Dale, David, Jordan, and Kyle,

I cannot begin to express the sorrow in my heart for all of you. Your husband, your brother, and your dad was one of the most genuine, kind, and humble men I’ve ever known. Every time I saw him he always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. I first knew him at Erwin, then as David’s brother- but little did I know Eddie would become such a blessing in my daughters life as well. Hold tight the precious, happy memories. Know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers, always. I love you all.

  27. Dear Dale and Family,
We are so saddened to hear of Eddie’s passing. My first thought was to tell my dad- because Eddie was so good to check on them especially during bad weather and visit at other times. However- I realized Dad and Eddie are probably together at Jesus’ feet. We are praying for you all during this time of grief. May God hold you close to His heart-and give you a peace that only He can give.
