  1. Chuck was more than a friend, he was my hero in so many ways. Often people would hear me say “wish I was more like Chuck.” Sorely miss the great gentleman he was and will always remember our season together.

  2. Chuck was always an interesting and delightful person to be around. When Chuck and Suzanne moved to Asheville, all of us in the Seekers Sunday school class were disappointed that they were leaving Raleigh.

  3. We are deeply saddened at the news of Chuck’s recent passing. He was a friend to all. His sense of humor was a delight. His musicianship as a handbell ringer was a contributing factor to many glorious performances. We cherish our memories of him.

  4. Our beloved Uncle Chuck will be incredibly missed by all friends and family. He was a perfect example of a family man, patriot who gladly served and an intellect Siwash of the prestigious Knox College. We will forever cherish our time with him and wished we were geographically closer. The memories of his dry sense of humor, caring nature and infectious laugh will remain forever.
