Geoffry Lee Shook, 37, of Clyde, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Mission Hospital.

We know Geoff is now with his dad, his Nana and two Papaws, and he is loved here on earth as well as in Heaven.

Geoff will be forever remembered for his beautiful smile, gentle eyes, caring heart, loving embrace and unconditional love. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in Heaven watching over us.

Geoff is survived by his mother, Brenda McFee Hastings, and his step-father, William Hastings; brother, Carl Hastings; and grandmothers, Emelyn Shook and Faye Rice. He was preceded in death by his father, James Robert Shook.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

  1. Words cannot express the sadness we feel but there is comfort in knowing he is with his dad, his Nana McFee, and both papaws in heaven watching over us. God doesn’t make mistakes and, although we don’t understand it, there is a bigger plan and reason for God to take Geoff home now. I love you, Geoff, and I know I’ll see you again one day!   6. Geoff was one of the kindest, most cheerful people I’ve ever met. He was a great man, and he was always someone I loved being around. I wasn’t as close to him as I wish I’d been, but I still loved him like he was my brother.
