Charles Raymond Lawrence III, 55, of Asheville, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021.
A native of Asheville, he was a son of Charles and Clara Raines Lawrence.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Charles Alexander Lawrence; two brothers, Randy Lawrence and Steven Lawrence (Kathy); one niece, Sara Lawrence and the mother of his son, Christy Jones Lawrence.
Charles loved spending time with his family and friends, as well as old cars, trucks and motorcycles, especially his 1940 Ford.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, September 22 at New Salem Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
