Constance “Connie” Rebecca McGee Mabe, 62, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.
Connie was born in Asheville on February 14, 1960 to James “JC” McGee of Asheville and the late Margaret “Margo” Hurlocker McGee.
She was a graduate of Carolina Day School and Elon University. She retired from Atrium Windows and Doors with 20 years of service as a senior sales leader.
In addition to her father, Connie is survived by her husband of 34 years, Steve Harvey Mabe; stepdaughter, Brandy Mabe; two brothers, James Walter McGee (Yvonne) and Dr. Timothy C. McGee (Joan); several step-grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life service was held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Burroughs Funeral Home in Walnut Cove.
