Daisy Viola Gasperson, 83, of Candler, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
A native of Buncombe Co., Daisy was a daughter of the late William Mack Gasperson and Elizabeth Lee Jenkins Gasperson. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Marie Hawkins Reid.
Surviving is her daughter, Pamela Hawkins Penland; grandchildren, Amanda Morgan (Paul), Sabrina Robinson (Michael) and Kaitlyn Nixon (Noah); and a sister, Hilda Grace Gasperson.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 6 at Shepherd Memorial Park in Hendersonville, with Rev. Charlie Sams officiating.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting the family.
