So grateful to be able to take you fishing in your later years, just as you had done for so many when they were young. Go rest high Grandpa.

Bruce was an amazing neighbor and friend. He always looked out for my children and had a friendly smile and a wave. If you ever passed through the Dixx Creek community he most likely raised his had to acknowledge you. The fresh vegetables he grew were always distributed around the neighborhood freely. More than once, I heard a knock on the door, went to the front porch and found fresh vegetables sitting by the stairs and saw Mr. Morgan backing out of the driveway. He never asked for recognition or thanks he just gave freely. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch with him at his place just chatting about every day stuff. He told me a lot about the way things were when he grew up. It wasn’t easy, but he had a great attitude about life. He always went out of his way to help my family anytime we had a need. What a wonderful man he will be missed.
