Jacqueline Myrian Snow, 83, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from Manual High School, University of Indianapolis, B.A., and Butler University, M.A. She taught high school English at Manual, Franklin, Danville and Perry Meridian High Schools in Indiana. Prior to her teaching career, she worked at Indianapolis Power & Light where she met and married her devoted husband of 65 years Jerry Snow. After her teaching career, she was a successful realtor at Home Pro Realtors in Plainfield, IN.

She enjoyed traveling to dude ranches and numerous states with her husband and children, telling ghost stories to the neighborhood kids, writing, music, planting flowers, gardens and trees, cooking gourmet meals, hosting dinner parties, attending church, having friends visit, spending time with her grandchildren and her pets.

Jerry and Jackie sold their beloved Brown County, Indiana farm and moved to Tampa Bay, Florida in 2000 to be near their children and grandchildren. In 2009, they moved to the Asheville, NC area because they loved the mountains. Their children, grandchildren, friends and relatives enjoyed visiting frequently.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Eugenia Coop Goad, father, Lloyd Goad, mother-in-law, Leonia Snow, father-in-law, William Howard Snow, and brother-in-law, Roger Snow.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Snow; son, Will (Bill) Snow; daughter, Julie Snow (Robert Taylor); daughter-in-law, Michele Snow; and grandchildren, Cameron Graves, Devon Graves, Lauren Snow, and Piper Snow. She is also survived by her brother, Steve Goad, and nephews, Matt Goad, Mark Goad, Brian Snow, Travis Snow, and Stacy Snow.

The family wishes to thank the dedicated professionals at The Greens at Weaverville for the care provided.

There will be no public funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the fight for dementia (Alzheimer’s Association, The American Brain Foundation, Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, Bright Focus or any Alzheimer’s foundation close to your heart) or a tree may be planted in her memory.
