Maricio Jose Lopez

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Maricio Jose Lopez, who left this world far too soon.

Maricio was the beloved son of Alicia Huntsinger and Juan Lopez, and a cherished brother to Hector, Darius, and Leo. He brought joy and light to the lives of all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

He was a treasured grandson to Karen and Leon, as well as Alfonso and Esmeralda, and a loving great-grandson to Wanda Hurst.

Maricio will be deeply missed by his aunts and uncles: Johnathan, Sissy, TJ, Eddie (Vanessa), Terry (Ivan), Rachel, Rey, and Alfonso, and he will be fondly remembered by his many cousins.

He now joins in eternal rest his beloved Aunt Debbie and Uncle Jose, whose memories will forever be honored alongside his.

Maricio’s vibrant spirit, kind heart, and unforgettable smile will be remembered always. He touched many lives during his time with us, and his legacy of love and connection will endure.

A Funeral Service to celebrate his life will be held starting at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 28 in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home in Arden with burial to follow at Upward Bible Baptist Church Cemetery. His family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
