He and his family have grown to be so much more than that to our whole family.
His daily meetings at the fence with our youngest, Marina were much more than the ice cream offerings and the coins he jingled in his pocket. He matched her excitement listening to her tell him every detail of her preschool day (which were at times very long and hard to decipher through her missing teeth) to which he would contribute with his own plentiful stories and memories. This is just one of many special moments we got to share with Charlie.
I can’t count how many Coke’s and stories we’ve shared with Charlie and his amazing family we have grown to love over the years, but I hope to do Charlie proud and keep adding more to the collection until we meet again.
To the bestest “Good Ol Boy” of all time, you hold a very special place in our hearts.
Thank you for everything Charlie.
Rest in peace
Love always, Chris, Elli, Mikko, Maya and Marina
My dad Santa really enjoyed him as well. I hope they’re having a fun time together now in heaven.
