  9. Barbara and family I want y’all to know that we’re sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. He was my neighbor and school bus driver. I remember well the time “someone” soaped the inside and outside of the bus windows one Halloween. Needles to say, he was late the next morning and for some reason, he’s gave me a stern look. He was a very likable person. Prayers for y’all, Kirk and Sharon Hooper

  10. Ernest Williams I knew Jack when we were kids, born about 500 yards from each other the on Grassy Greek Road in Tuckasegee, the last time I saw him was in 1952, he was 2 years older than me, I knew his father who we called Jim Smith

  11. Barbara and Family, So sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. Thoughts & prayers are with you all. I worked with Jack in Water Administration… he was always funny, kind and everyone enjoyed him being around. When lunch time came if we were outside of City Hall, you could count on seeing him and Sonny together, sharing stories… He spoke of how Barbara kept him inline! He’s one of those fellow employees that you really miss after retirement. Sara McHone
