Kenneth Blake Smith

Kenneth Blake Smith, 74, of Wideman, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025. Born in Asheville, North Carolina, in 1950, he was the son of the late Blake and Juanita Smith.

Kenneth was a skilled carpenter who poured his heart into his work. Whether building something with his hands or lending a hand to someone in need, he lived a quiet, humble life marked by hard work and kindness. He took pride in what he did and in the people he loved.

He is survived by his brothers Phillip Smith, Reed Smith, Sammy Smith, William Smith, and Luke Smith; and his sisters, Diane Brackett and Darlene Frisbee. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 4th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue. A graveside service to celebrate Kenneth’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 5th, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Though he may be gone from our sight, Kenneth will always remain in our hearts.
