Cheryl Ann Liner

Cheryl Ann Liner, 81, of Asheville, North Carolina went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on September 18, 2025. She was born in Charlotte, NC to Amon George Liner and Ruby D. Sloop Liner who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was a brother, Amon George Liner, Jr. and her best friend, Janet Goff.

Cheryl, a 1966 graduate of Mars Hill University, was an organist and music teacher.

She was a faithful member of Church of the Incarnation in Black Mountain, North Carolina for twenty-four years. At church, Cheryl was a part of the music ministry, the administrative staff, and served as Church Sacristan. She is fondly remembered by her Incarnation Family for her service, generosity, prayer, and for her passionate love of Jesus Christ.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 10:00am at Church of the Incarnation, 116 Vance Avenue Black Mountain, North Carolina with Fr. Jim Swatzell and Fr. Gerard Freeman officiating. The burial in Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte, North Carolina will take place that afternoon at 3:00pm.
