Asheville Butterfly TrailMabel Anne Kerr Biddix, 81, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
A native of Beaufort, SC, Mabel was a daughter of the late Emory Jennings and Lillie Bell Kerr. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Anne Carter; sister, Ava Jean Gosnell; and granddaughter, Jennifer Westall.
Mrs. Biddix retired from the Vanderbilt Shirt Co. She was then proud of her second, 25-year long career at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed worshipping at Sunrise Baptist Church, and in her free time loved decorating cakes, gardening in her yard and going to the rodeo.
She is survived by her son, Scott Westall; grandchildren, Keisha Carter, Jason Westall, Jennifer Taylor and Russell Peterson; great-grandchildren, Xavier, Thomas, Jolene, Payton, Jase, McKenna, and Ashley; and brother, Joe Kerr.
The graveside service for Mrs. Biddix will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, at Green Hills Cemetery.
