Elizabeth, affectionately known as Liz, graduated from Hutchison School, Memphis, TN, and Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN where she attained her Bachelor of Arts. She was affiliated with Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Liz received her Master’s degree in Counseling from University of North Florida, Jacksonville, FL.

Before joining Trinity Episcopal Church in Asheville, NC, Liz was an active member at Christ Episcopal Church in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Her faith led her to serve others and make a meaningful difference in countless people’s lives. She was also a member of the Junior League and Les Passees in Memphis, TN. She always left people feeling heard, encouraged, and welcome.

Her adventures at the lake along with her love of new experiences, hiking, travel, and books provided Liz pleasure– but her greatest treasures were her family and dear friends.

  1. Liz was one of the finest people I have ever known — always thinking of other people and what she could do for them. Her passion was helping the homeless and she could never do enough. I am blessed to have known Liz and will miss her a great deal.♥️
