Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Callie was one of the best friends in my life. You always knew where you stood with her and she wasn’t afraid to speak the truth in love. She will be missed but now she can see and hear and her body is healed. How can we not want that for her!

  2. Callie hired me when I started my career with the Postal Service. I have never forgotten how nice she was to me. My prayers are with the family.

  3. Callie hired me for my Career at the Post Office. We stayed friends all that time. I stayed closer to her with her Daughter Susan. I have a lot of memories and I will miss her. I’m glad she is in Heaven and pain free. My prayers are with all the Family. Callie I Love You!!

  4. I worked with Callie at Asheville Gastroenterology and she was a dear friend to me. She taught me many life lessons that I still use today. She kept in touch with me all these years. I’m thankful that she’s not struggling with health issues now and that she’s with her heavenly Father and Paul as well as her many friends and family that have gone before her. I’m praying for all of you during this time.

  5. Remembering Callie with such fondness as she served many years in her volunteer role caring for hospice patients and families. Her kindness and caring spirit touched many. Thinking of the family, sharing in your loss. My condolences to you all.

  6. I knew Callie for many years when we worked at AGA. She was known as Grannie in our department. She was also famous for her banana pudding. She always treated people like family. Callie was the kindest most giving person I have known. She will always hold a special place in our hearts.

  7. To Callie’s family I am just today getting this news of her passing and am so sad — she was my dearest friend and classmate in school. There is no other friend like Callie because she was so much a one of a kind that truly loved each and every one she had the chance to know. I am so sorry that she has passed but to a place where her happiness will be shared with the angles in heaven and the joy to see those who went before her. God Bless each of you in the family — especially Susan who was her caretaker loving daughter. Thank you Susan for a wonderful care giving daughter. God’s Blessing !! Love, Marie Stone

  8. I just learned of Callie’s passing. My deepest sympathy to the family. My aunt, Marjorie Blankenship Miller (English teacher at Reynolds for many years) married Jim Miller, one of Paul Jr’s cousins. We talked a lot back and forth about the urban sprawl where the old Miller and Blankenship home places were and replaced by a grocery store and post office. How times have changed. Once again, my deepest sympathy. Gerry Huntley. 828-318-4013. gerryh1947@yahoo.com
