Born in: Asheville, NC
Resided in: Candler, NC

Antonio Tremaine Carson, Jr., age 19, was taken from this world far too soon. Antonio had a smile that could light up any room and a spirit that drew people to him. A natural leader, he was always the heart of his circle, protective, loyal, and full of life.

Antonio enjoyed spending time with friends, playing on his PlayStation, watching documentaries, and most of all being a devoted father to his precious two-year-old daughter who was the center of his world.

He is reunited in heaven with his late fiancée and the mother of his daughter, Hannah Allison, as well as his cousin, Ethan Jepsen, uncle, Robert Peterson, III, and great aunt, Anita Carson.

Antonio leaves behind a loving family who will forever carry his memory in their hearts, and his memory will be especially cherished by his daughter, Kailani Grace Carson. He is also survived by his heartbroken parents, Vanessa Peterson McDonald and Antonio Carson Sr., his stepfather, Andre McDonald; his six younger siblings: sisters Ariana and Aryah McDonald, Amani Carson, and brothers Andreus Roberts, Amarii and Ahziz Carson.

He is further survived by his grandparents, Virginia Leyva & Vincent Perez, and Trina Logan & Alfred Logan; his aunts and uncles, Crystal Wood, Victoria Pickens & Andrew Pickens, April Burroughs, Coleman Clark, Tyquan Finley, Dykashia Featherstone, Reginald Featherstone, and Dequana Ware; his cousins, Tristan Wood, Talib Ledford, Leila Pickens & Carter Pickens, Matthew Burroughs & Isaac Burroughs, Noah Peterson, Emery Finley, Co’marion Frisbee & Haylo Frisbee, & Xariyana McElroy; along with many other relatives and friends who loved him deeply.

Antonio’s life, though short, left an everlasting impact. His laughter, love, and presence will never be forgotten. He was taken too soon, but he will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

A service will be held on Monday, December 22 at 3:00 p.m. at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave.
