Hendersonville- Anna Marie Hrabar, 85, of Hendersonville, died Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock.
A native of Poughkeepsie, NY, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Viola Wilkinson Montanino. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Hrabar.
Up until the very end Anna was a spitfire, known to all as Miss Anna, the Doll Lady and Grandma. She always kept busy working two jobs into her 70’s, helping with Vacation Bible School decorations, stuffing Easter eggs for the annual hunt and making goodie bags for the fall festival. After moving to Brookdale, she found herself calling Bingo, showing new residents the ropes as an ambassador and enjoying a WII bowling league with friends. Anna was an accomplished dollmaker and seamstress using her talents up until her death. She will be missed by friends and family that she accumulated over the years.
