Deborah Ingle Miller, a beloved mother and friend, died Friday, May 6, 2005, in Sandusky, OH. Born in Wyandotte, MI, on September 14, 1956, and raised in Mobile, AL, she lived her remaining days in Sandusky. Mrs. Miller was employed a number of years as a dispatcher for Yellow Cab Co. and Newman’s Ambulance Service. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching NASCAR races, and playing card and dice games with her family. Her favorite vacation spot was Leicester, NC, where she frequently visited members of her extended family. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Ingle, husband, Patrick Miller and brother Don Ingle. She is survived by her daughters Kristin Brownlee and Donnita Johnson; son Shaun Miller; sons-in-law Curtis Johnson and Danny Wayne Lewis, Sr.; grandson Danny Wayne Lewis, Jr.; mother Mildred Ingle; sisters Gayle Barnett and Belinda Hammac; brothers Bob Ingle and Carl Ingle; devoted loved ones David Barnett, Robert Hammac, Paula Cochran, Debbie Ingle, Neal and Peggy Woody and Bob and Lynne Lawhead; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, at Serenity Funeral Home in Theodore, AL, and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 13, at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue in Asheville. Interment will follow at noon Friday at Big Sandy United Methodist Church Cemetery, Leicester. In lieu of flowers the family encourages remembrance contributions to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870. Stein Hospice was essential in helping her complete her journey in life.
