  1. TO THE DENNIS FAMILY, BOB, WE WERE SO SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR MOTHER’S PASSING. SHE WAS A WONDERFUL FRIEND TO MY MOTHER.WE REMEMBER HER,AS WELL AS YOU AND YOUR BROTHER PAUL, FROM SARDIS METHODIST CHURCH AND THE STRADLEY MTN. COMMUNITY. PLEASE KNOW THAT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS AT THIS TIME.

  2. I was so sorry to see that Pearl had passed away, yet happy for her, knowing that she’s at peace now. I know she was not content to be away from her mountain home. I had not called her in a while because she seemed to have trouble remembering who I was the last time I talked with her, and when she did she cried and told me how homesick she was. Pearl was a good friend to me, both in Greensboro and in Asheville. She was a fine lady and it was a privilege to know her and to be counted among her friends. I know she will be missed. She loved her boys and never failed to brag about them and her grandchildren & great grandchidren. She was blessed to have a family that loved her and took care of her. I know that it is a comfort to you, knowing that she was a Christian and is ‘finally home.’
