Madaline Locke Miller

Asheville – Madaline Locke Miller, 95, died Friday, October 14, 2005. A native of Pitcairn, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Grant and Gertrude Madden Anderson and wife of the late Raymond Miller, who died in 2002. A resident of Asheville since 1992, Mrs. Miller was a former resident of Coral Gables, Florida where she was a retired school teacher and a member of the Coral Gables Congregational Church. She is survived by two daughters, Judie Burrell of Asheville and Peggy Harrison, and her husband Nat, of Fairview; four grandchildren, Jennifer Moore of Asheville, Cassie Ospina of Hollywood, Fla., Natalie Harrison of New York City and Dylan Harrison of Fairview and four great grandchildren, Ian, Julianne and Lily Moore of Asheville and Alexander Ospina of Hollywood, Florida. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Monday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian conducted by the Reverend Richard Walker. The family will receive friends following the service.
