Renice Lee “Pop” Harrin, 86, of 660 North Louisiana Avenue, Asheville, died Saturday, January 4, 2003, at a local hospital. Mr. Harrin was a son of the late Walter Lee and Laura Tweed Harrin. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie Harrin. He was retired from Asheville Concrete where he worked as a driver for 26 years. He was an avid bingo player and had several friends at the local games where he always “had his number in the moniter”. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Crisp and her husband Harold and Sandy Jenkins and her husband David; a son, Butch Harrin, all of Asheville; three grandchildren, Krissy Harrin, Brad Harrin and Doug Crisp; three great-grandchildren, Tanner and Tyler Harrin and Austin Crisp. Private services for the immediate family will be at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue followed by interment at Green Hills Cemetery.
