Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again, and you will rejoice..’ John 16:22
As Jesus told his disciples that their grief will turn to joy when they see him again, so will your grief turn to joy when all are reunited with Dot in Heaven. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Aunt Nell, Bob, Joy, Eva and the Grandchildren and friends,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. Aunt Dorothy was a special lady who led by example. She was always so elegant and such a delight each time we saw her. She be missed by those of us here left behind, but we are grateful for the promise of a great family reunion in heaven, where there is no suffering, sorrow or pain.
(I know if my Dad has his way there, I suspect there is a delicious banana pudding and peanut butter pie there too, but can’t support it with scripture.) 🙂
Our love and prayers are with you all,
Matthew, Amy, Jordan & Summer Ledford
Bob Smith,Dorothy Smith Alexander’s son and I fell in love and began ‘ going steady’ when we were 14 years old,It was an exclusive love, the only one either of us ever felt for anyone else. We tried to get married when we were 16,
but Bob’s mom caught and stopped us. Finally, we were able to get married 11
years later and were together for 25 years of the greatest love I have ever, or ever will, know. He will always be the love of my life.
So she was not only myMother-in-law, she was my mother, whom I loved
dearly and admired greatly. She was really the only mother I had ever known
and her family took me in , making me every bit a part of their wonderful family.
I love them all and will always consider her the only mother I ever had and their
family, the only true family I ever knew.
I am just learning of her passing and am struck with grief. And so much gratitude that I was raised by one of the most incredible women I will ever know. Love and blessings. Yvonne
