Please Except My Condolence To The Family Of Brother Zeb R. Shepherd On Behalf Of Brother Phillip Evans & Joyce D. Evans.We Will Miss Him.
To the family of Zeb,
I offer deepest condolences in the passing of Zeb. I have fond memories of him when he and Wanda had the service station on N. Leicester Hwy. Our family business of steel erection always bought gas at their station. Zeb always took the time to chat. Memories are lasting and comforting to help with the loss of a loved one.
With deepest sympathy,
Phillip and Joyce Dover-Evans

No one hears the door that opens
Through which they pass beyond recall;
Soft as loosened leaves of roses,
One by one our Loved ones fall.
From our chain this link has fallen;
In our land his star has set;
But enshrined on memory’s tablet,
His true worth we’ll ne’er forget.
Behold his perfect ashlar stands
As he has made it, square and true,
To grace that house not made with hands,
Invisible to mortal view.
His labor done, his journey o’er,
Reward has come with his release,
He rests upon the farther shore
With God in God’s eternal peace.
There is a stream that all must cross,
The river of human years;
Now lying calm in the summer light,
Now splashed with the rain of human tears.
Out of the hills of God it flows,
And on to the shoreless sea,
Here the noontide sun no shadow throws,
And time is eternity. -Author Unknown-

We are Saddened by the Passing of Our Friend and my Masonic Brother.
Debbie & Tommy, I just learned of your dad’s passing tonight (Wednesday – 10:00 pm). I’m so sorry for your loss, and I’m sorry I didn’t know earlier – I would have come to the funeral.
Your dad was a great man – we were fortunate to have him in our Erwin community. We were both lucky to have such wonderful dads. They’re probably in Heaven trying to start up another youth leage together!!
If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.
Zeb was a good friend since my teenage years. He was very dedicated to our community and he DID make a difference. May God bless you in the days ahead.
