I only met Mabel one time and that was after her cousin Shirley B. Vanderbeck and I were married. She welcomed me with open arms and treated me as if I had been one of the family all my life. For that kindness I will never forget. Thanks Mabel, have a wonderful life in Heaven with our God. Bill W.
Mabel was a dear friend and cousin. After I expressed a desire to meet more of my family – she set up the Duckett Reunion for several years. My Dad, Paul Baldwin, particularly enjoyed these reunions. We saw Mabel shortly after she was diagnosed with cancer and had hoped to get back up there to see her again and to introduce her to our granddaughter, Kayla. However due to a broken hip and several complications we were unable to visit again. We look forward to meeting Mabel again in heaven where I know she is rejoicing with many family members including my Mom and Dad.

Mabel, we will miss you.
Mabel was like an aunt to me. I have such wonderful memories. My favorite memory was just sitting on her front porch and visiting with her. Mabel was like a sister to my mother, who passed away two years ago on the same day.
She helped arrange my wedding at her church.
We will miss Mabel and will see her one day in heaven.
