Helen, Cecil, & Sonya: My deepest sympathies are with all of you in the loss of ‘Granny’. She was loved by many and will be missed by many as well. You all are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. I am so sorry that I was unable to be there for you, and thank you for your understanding.
Love & Prayers – Myra
Helen, Cecil, Jim, Maxine, Chris & Sonya – I’m saddened to hear of Aunt Ednas passing; however, she is now rejoicing with Jesus, Uncle Gordon, ‘Pop’, and many loved ones. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Aunt Edna was always a major presence in my life even after I moved to Atlanta. I feel very fortunate to have had her as my great aunt. My only regret is that I wasn’t born in time to see this wonderful proper lady riding on a motorcycle with my Uncle Gordon back during the depression. She was something. I’m going to miss you Aunt Edna.
Jim and Maxine I was so sorry to hear of Jim’s mother passing away. You are two special people and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you both. Love Carolyn Lester
To friends and family- My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. Mrs. Harris was blessed with a long life. Blessings and peace, Betty Nelon Rhodes formerly of Fairview
Aunt Edna will greatly be missed by us all. I will especially remember her potato salads at holidays from the recipe she reduced down from her days at the grammer school cafateria. Although my new faimly only met her once, Bobbie, Rachel and Robert said what a pleasure she was and she would be missed…Although gone from our sight never our thoughts and always in our hearts.. We love you and will miss you dearly….
Jim and Maxine, Helen and Cecil, My condolences to each of you. I will always remember Aunt Edna for her wit, her humor, and her generosity. She was a very special person. I will especially treasure the memory of visiting her each halloween as a child, when all of the neighborhood kids would gather around her table, and be given not one or two treats, but a dozen or more. Then she would try to guess who we all were. She was very good at it!
Helen & Jim: I was so saddened to hear that we have lost Aunt Edna. She was so very special to all of us. What a jewel of a lady. She had such a great sense of humor and so much love in her heart for everyone. She will truly be missed by all, but our memories of her are our treasurers forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Much love, Dottie & Kenneth Williams
